One of the first programs that I typed into my old computer, way back in the Dark Ages (pre-internet), but not the only time... I cannot recall how many times I entered that program over the past 4+ decades... Old but still a classic. Looking forward to your version... Suggestion: Seeing the game is pure text, you may wish to present it as intended, white text on black... or perhaps a "dash of colour"? Perhaps an option on startup?

Edit : I tried to learn Klingon language, but I gave up
too much puzzlement
For example, I used https://www.bing.com/translator/
English to Klingon (Latin ) .... thank you = nuqneH
Klingon (Latin) to English .... nuqneH = what do you want
Conclusion : It's better to continue programming the Star Trek than to learn Klingon

I have had the same problem with different on-line applications. As you have correctly shown, translating in both directions, produces different results.
I found a Klingon Dictionary... warning: not the best if you want to translate sentences etc... As it is only a dictionary. The dictionary will also explain how to pronounce words in Klingon. Learning Klingon, using a dictionary, is a VERY steep learning curve and will take a GREAT deal of practice and patience...
