Any plan to change the theme of the forum?

Yes, the current theme is not good enough. A theme with bigger fonts should be better for reading. Thanks. Smile

Quick question. Is it just this site that needs a larger font or others as well? Although I use Linux, if I need the font larger, I just use CTRL + mouse-wheel to zoom in or out. If it's all sites then I suspect that it may be a system font adjustment. Just a guess...

Only this NaaLaa forum needs bigger fonts.

Forums made with MyBB are always with small fonts. Bad.  Exclamation

Forums made with SMF are always with fonts of suitable sizes . Very comfortable for readers. This:

I "inspected" the source of both our Forum's webpage and syntaxbomb's Forum webpage and they are both using the standard characterset "UTF-8". Both pages are displaying the exact same font size. The difference is, syntaxbomb's website, uses a dark background with lighter foreground text. This format is easier (or more comfortable) to read.

My guess would be, if the font size is too small (or too large), either MyBB or SMF would have to make the changes as they control the layout of their sites. The organisation, www.w3.org, seems to be the standard by which the majority of websites base their website standards. Of course, that does not mean that sites should not or could not, use various fonts and styles... But, basic webpage text, uses the standard "UTF-8" character sets.

Based on that... my recommendation would be to check with Admin (Marcus) to see if our forum has the option to have either a "dark" or "light" appearance... is so... perhaps we could "turn to the dark side"... lol

You are so hardworking. Thanks.

Actually, the feeling is very obvious, for example, when you see the words on these two pages:

https://www.syntaxbomb.com/forum/
https://naalaa.com/forum/

The words on the page of the NaaLaa forum are so small.

I was referring to the standard paragraph text. When you mention "bigger fonts", I thought you meant that the paragraph text was too small. Having lighter text on a darker background makes it easier to read... lol

However, the main logos and titles are indeed different...

I have always wanted to try my hand at website design... I just never got around to doing it... Most websites, that host forums, usually come with the tools to create the "look and feel" of the forum. The forum administrator usually has the authority to make changes. But, a lot of tools, usually include a collection of templates to choose from and may not have much in the way of being "creative"... but, I have been known to be wrong, from time to time...

The words of this forum are also small and the forum was made with phpBB®. phpBB® is as bad as MyBB.

Agreed... If you think BBC's font is small, checkout the font on rcbasic's forum... https://rcbasic.freeforums.net/ This is what I use every day... In comparison, Naalaa's font size, is huge... lol
