I ordered a PicoCalc in November. After a brief wait and lots of emails to customs, I finally got it delivered today! I booted it up with PicoMite MMBASIC gave me serious nostalgia, reminding me of my first programming adventures with BASIC back in the day...
Anyway, I messed around with the device and just wrote a simple circle-drawing thingy...
(Yeah yeah that's me on the reflection

)
Lots of adventures coming up with my small friend

I am a big fan of Basic. I looked up PicoCalc online... Did you buy it as a Kit or 'one piece'? A very nice looking unit. If and when you get time, share some of your 'exeperiments'... Sounds like fun. All the best!

I bought it as a kit. I think they don’t sell it as one piece, at least not to my knowledge. It’s really a nice tool.

I will definitely share my experience and experiments..

I see that in certain parts of Europe there is a lot of nostalgia for the basic language, but nowadays there are better languages to enjoy programming such as naalaa, lua, ruby, processing etc...
