When will NaaLaa support browser platform???
#11
I do not mean to interrupt the conversation. but I think you maybe 'moving forward' a little too fast... It is my belief that Marcus has little to no knowledge of OpenGL, HTML and Javascript to create a Web-based application using Naalaa 7. To answer your question, "Will Marcus be able to overcome this problem?", that would be, no.

Perhaps we should be asking if any of us has experience creating Web applications. The other alternative is to research how to convert an executable into a Web-based application. Just a thought.

I also agree with Aurel. There are mixed results when creating browser applications. But, who knows, maybe we will be lucky with N7....

Marcus doesn't have this kind of technical knowledge? I see. Undecided

The answer is: none. Sad

Don't be pessimistic. Cool

Not pessimistic. Realistic. Until one or more of us can develop the skills to produce Web-based games using N7, then N7 will continue, as is. I for one am okay with that. It's true, that if we can make web games, N7 will have a larger audience and thereby perchance, a larger community. In the meantime, those of us who can code, know what we must do. The more examples that we can produce, the better our chances of encouraging new prospects to "join our cause".

Herein ends today's sermon... lol

The above description is not too correct. The accurate desciption should be:

More nice examples made in NaaLaa + Show them on an appropriate platform for the public to discover them easily =  the better our chances of encouraging new prospects to "join our cause".

Our NaaLaa forum members like to use NaaLaa to make nice examples but they don't like to upload them to suitable platforms for showcasing.

This limit the future of NaaLaa. This is the reason why browser game support of NaaLaa is in urgent need.
