Old Stuff

I just found the Youtube Naalaa channel....  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRwL0Jj...X0w/videos

Am I correct in assuming that "all" of those programs are gone? No chance that at least a few may have been tucked away on some forgotten drive somewhere? There are such a lot of cool games on that channel... It would be a shame if they were all lost... *sigh*

I will look through my old drives, just in case, but I cannot be sure that I have any of them... I think I may have the 'example' programs for N5 and N6 but that may be all... I will still look none the less...

I'll check my backups and see what I can find and post the games here. Remember making that Super Mario thingy for my son, happy days, now he's old and has moved out Big Grin

Would you mind posting robowack? I want to see if I can port it to n7. I've written a loader for the wolf3d library for maps created with n6's rc editor. I need something good to test it with.

I really need to write an editor for wolf3d, but I have yet to figure out a user friendly way of editing the four different wall textures of a cube.

Edit Maybe the editor should be in "3D", so that you edit the map while walking around in it.

Robowack as requested...

Hmm... 3D. Are you sure you want to go down that road? A 'live' 3D editor is a 'lot' of work but sounds cool...

If you can get Robowack to convert correctly perhaps, time permitting of course, a document (for want of a better word) describing the changes made? Could be helpful for those of us... alright... me... who struggle to do it the right way... lol
